Turn Signal Switch Replacement RHD
Removal Procedure
Caution:
Refer to
Battery Disconnect Caution
in the Preface section.
Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to
Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
.
Remove the upper and lower steering column trim covers. Refer to
Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement
.
Disconnect the turn signal switch (2) electrical connector (1).
Press the retaining tabs (1) on the turn signal switch (2) and pull the turn signal switch assembly away from the steering column.
Installation Procedure
Install the new turn signal (2) switch and push the switch into position until the retaining tabs (1) seat with an audible click.
Connect the turn signal switch (2) electrical connector (1).
Install the upper and lower steering column trim covers. Refer to
Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement
.
Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to
Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
.
Check all vehicle lights for correct operation.

Removal Procedure
Caution:

Disconnect the battery ground cable from the battery. Refer to
Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
.
Remove the upper and lower steering column trim covers. Refer to
Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement
.
Disconnect the turn signal switch (2) electrical connector (1).
Press the retaining tabs (2) on the turn signal switch (1) and pull the turn signal switch assembly away from the steering column.
Installation Procedure
Install the new turn signal switch (1) and push the switch into position until the retaining tabs (2) seat with an audible click.
Connect the turn signal switch (2) electrical connectors (1).
Install the upper and lower steering column trim covers. Refer to

.
Connect the battery ground cable to the battery. Refer to
Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
.
Check all vehicle lights for correct operation.
