Liftgate Emblem/Nameplate Replacement. Chevrolet Caprice WM 2009

Important: Protect the paint and body work with tape or a clean cloth. Failure to do so may result in damage to the paint work.

Important: To assist in the removal of the liftgate emblem, warm the liftgate emblem with a suitable tool.

Important: Take care not to damage the paint work when prying the liftgate emblem from the liftgate.

Use a suitable tool to carefully prise the liftgate emblem (1) from the liftgate (2).
Remove any remaining adhesive from the liftgate and clean the surface with a suitable cleaning solution, using a lint free cloth.

Important: Use spec HN2021 or equivalent.

If reusing the liftgate emblem, clean the liftgate emblem with a suitable cleaning solution, using a lint free cloth.

1.1.	Apply new polyethylene double sided tape to the back of the liftgate emblem.

1.2.	Trim back the tape to the inner edge of the liftgate emblem.

Important: Do not allow the adhesive tape to come in contact with any dirt or foreign matter.

Apply the liftgate emblem (1) to the liftgate (2) as shown. Refer to Graphics/Decals/Emblems.
Firmly press the liftgate emblem into place for 30 seconds to make sure proper adhesion of the liftgate emblem.
