Removal Procedure
Caution: Gasoline or gasoline vapors are highly flammable. A fire could occur
if an ignition source is present. Never drain or store gasoline or diesel
fuel in an open container, due to the possibility of fire or explosion. Have
a dry chemical (Class B) fire extinguisher nearby.
- Remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister assembly. Refer to
Evaporative Emission Canister Replacement

- Loosen the clamp and disconnect the EVAP canister vent hose from the EVAP canister filter.
- Remove the EVAP canister emission canister filter by unclipping the clips from the EVAP canister bracket.
Installation Procedure
- Install the EVAP canister filter to the EVAP canister bracket.
- Connect the EVAP canister vent hose to the EVAP canister filter.
