  1. Disassemble the engine block. Refer to Engine Block Disassemble.
  2. Mark and confirm the connecting rod cap position to ensure they are installed in the same position for assembly.
  3. Remove the connecting rod caps and bolts. Refer to Piston, Connecting Rod, and Bearing Removal.

    4. Object Number: 1822595 Size: SH
  4. Remove the lower crankcase. Refer to Lower Crankcase Replacement.

    5. Object Number: 2003034 Size: SH

    Important: Check and confirm the crankshaft bearing sequence to not confuse.

  5. Remove the crankshaft and main bearings with the crankshaft oil seal.

    6. Object Number: 1822655 Size: SH
  6. Remove the oil nozzle tube.

    7. Object Number: 1822657 Size: SH
  7. Remove the CPS target wheel.
