Removal Procedure
- Remove the brake fluid reservoir-to-master cylinder pins and remove the fluid level sensor by pushing the end of them.
- Remove the reservoir from the master cylinder.
- Plug the brake fluid reservoir to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
Installation Procedure
- Lubricate the new brake fluid reservoir seals with clean brake fluid.
- Install the brake fluid reservoir seals into the master cylinder body.
- Install the brake fluid reservoir-to-master cylinder pins and fluid level sensor.
- Add the brake fluid.
- Bleed the brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding .
