Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear brake rotor. Refer to Rear Brake Rotor Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 1764732 Size: SH

    Important: The disc brake backing plate and the park brake components are between the wheel bearing/hub assembly and the knuckle.

  2. Remove the park brake components. Refer to Parking Brake Shoe Replacement .
  3. Remove the rear wheel bearing/hub assembly. Refer to Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 1764734 Size: SH
  4. Remove the parking brake cable from the backing plate.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1764734 Size: SH
  1. Install the parking brake cable to the backing plate.

    2. Object Number: 1764732 Size: SH
  2. Install the rear wheel bearing/hub assembly. Refer to Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement .
  3. Install the park brake components. Refer to Parking Brake Shoe Replacement .
  4. Install the rear brake rotor. Refer to Rear Brake Rotor Replacement .
