Door Check Link Replacement C100/Long Body

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the door water deflector. Refer to Door Water Deflector Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 1758317 Size: SH
  2. Remove the bolts on the door and on the body.
  3. Remove the door hold-open link.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1758317 Size: SH
  1. Install the door hold-open link to the door and the body with the bolts.

    2. Tighten

        • Tighten the door hold-open link-to-body bolt to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
        • Tighten the door hold-open link-to-door bolts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

    Install the door water deflector. Refer to Door Water Deflector Replacement.

Door Check Link Replacement C105/Short Body

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the door water deflector. Refer to Door Water Deflector Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 1829892 Size: SH
  2. Remove the bolts on the door and on the body.
  3. Remove the door hold-open link.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1829892 Size: SH
  1. Install the door hold-open link to the door and the body with the bolts.

    2. Tighten

        • Tighten the door hold-open link-to-body bolt to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
        • Tighten the door hold-open link-to-door bolts to 7 N·m (62 lb in).
  2. Install the door water deflector. Refer to Door Water Deflector Replacement.
