Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1761017 Size: SH
  1. Remove the bolt (2) and the lower seat belt anchor (1).

    2. Object Number: 1761019 Size: SH
  2. Remove the lower center pillar trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Garnish Molding Replacement .
  3. Remove the cap to reveal the upper seat belt anchor (2).
  4. Remove the screws (3) and the seat belt guide (4).
  5. Remove the bolt (1) and the upper seat belt anchor (2).

  6. Remove the screw (1) from the seat belt retractor bracket.
  7. Remove the bolt (3) and the seat belt retractor (2).

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1793321 Size: SH
  1. Install the seat belt retractor (2) with the bolt (3).

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the seat belt retractor bolt to 38 N·m (28 lb ft).

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the seat belt retractor bracket screw (1).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the seat belt retractor bolt to 10 N·m (7 lb ft).

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the upper seat belt anchor (2) with the bolt (1).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the seat belt anchor bolt to 38 N·m (28 lb ft).

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Install the seat belt guide (4) with the screws (3).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the seat belt anchor bolt to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  5. Install the seat belt guide anchor cap.

  6. Install the lower center pillar trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Garnish Molding Replacement .
  7. Install the lower seat belt anchor (1) with the bolt (2).

    8. Tighten
    Tighten the seat belt anchor bolt to 38 N·m (28 lb ft).
