Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1885470 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Lower the steering column.
  3. Remove the key hole lamp. Refer Ignition Lock Cylinder Bulb Replacement .
  4. Disconnect the immobilizer electrical connector.
  5. Remove the immobilizer.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1885470 Size: SH
  1. Install the immobilizer.
  2. Connect immobilizer electrical connector.
  3. Install key hole lamp. Refer to Ignition Lock Cylinder Bulb Replacement .
  4. Connect the negative battery.
  5. Perform immobilizer reprogramming procedure. Refer to Theft Deterrent Control Module Programming and Setup
