For 1990-2009 cars only
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
- Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
- Visually check the brake pads for minimum thickness and wear.
- Measure the thickness. Refer to Disc Brake Component Specifications.
- Install the brake shoes in axle sets only.
- Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
- Lower the vehicle.
