Removal Procedure

    Caution: Ensure that the vehicle is properly supported and squarely positioned. To help avoid personal injury when a vehicle is on a hoist, provide additional support for the vehicle on the opposite end from which the components are being removed.

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the engine protection shield. Refer to Engine Shield Replacement .
  3. support the powertrain with a suitable jack stand.

  4. Remove the front transmission mount to frame bolt (1).

    5. Object Number: 2068579 Size: SH
  5. Remove the front transmission mount to transmission bolts (1).
  6. Remove the front transmission mount (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2068579 Size: SH
  1. Install the front transmission mount (2).

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the front transmission mount to transmission bolts (1) and tighten to 50 N·m (37 lb ft) .

    3. Object Number: 2068570 Size: SH
  3. Install the front transmission mount to frame bolt (1) and tighten to 90 N·m (66 lb ft) .
  4. Remove the jack stand supporting the powertrain.
  5. Install the engine protection shield. Refer to Engine Shield Replacement .
  6. Lower the vehicle .
