  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor connector.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Remove the CKP sensor. Tighten the CKP sensor retaining bolt to 7 N·m (62 lb in).
