Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Remove the coil spring. Refer to Coil Spring Replacement.

    3. Object Number: 1768950 Size: SH
  3. Remove the jounce bumper.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1768950 Size: SH
  1. Install the jounce bumper to the body panel.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Tighten the jounce bumper to the body panel hexagon bolt and tighten to 15 N·m (11 lb ft).
  3. Install the coil spring. Refer to Coil Spring Replacement.
  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Measure the wheel alignment. Adjust the wheel alignment if necessary. Refer to Wheel Alignment Measurement.
