Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Remove the rear wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.

    3. Object Number: 1797656 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the rear wheel speed sensor.

    4. Object Number: 1797658 Size: SH
  4. Remove the bolt (2) and the rear wheel speed sensor (1).

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1797658 Size: SH
  1. Install the bolt (2) and rear wheel speed sensor (1) and tighten to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

    2. Object Number: 1797656 Size: SH
  2. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the rear wheel speed sensor.
  3. Install the rear wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
  4. Lower the vehicle.
