Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the left tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement .
  4. Using a suitable jack stand, support the rear of the powertrain.

  5. Remove the rear transmission mount to rear transmission mount bracket bolt (1).

    6. Object Number: 2068589 Size: SH
  6. Remove the rear transmission mount bracket to transmission bolts (1).
  7. Remove the rear transmission mount bracket (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2068589 Size: SH
  1. Install the transmission mount bracket (2).

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the rear transmission bracket to transmission bolts (1) and tighten to 50 N·m (37 lb ft) .

    3. Object Number: 2068587 Size: SH
  3. Install the rear transmission mount to rear transmission mount bracket bolt (1) and tighten to 90 N·m (66 lb ft) .
  4. Remove the jack stand.
  5. Install the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement .
  6. Install the left tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  7. Lower the vehicle.
