Preliminary Procedure Remove the liftgate interior trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement .
1	Liftgate Latch Bolt (Qty: 4) Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section. Tighten 10 N·m (89 lb in)
2	Liftgate Latch Assembly Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector from the liftgate latch.

Liftgate Latch Bolt (Qty: 4)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Liftgate Latch Assembly

Disconnect the electrical connector from the liftgate latch.
