IGN II/III Voltage | P2534 | P2534 | -- | -- |
The fuel pump control module (FPCM) monitors the ignition voltage circuit in order to determine if the voltage is within the normal operating range.
• | The key is in RUN or CRANK. |
• | The engine is running. |
• | The FPCM detects that the IGN II/III voltage is less than 6.0 volts. |
• | The above condition is present for 7 seconds. |
DTC P2534 is an A type DTC.
DTC P2534 is an A type DTC.

Important: Verify that DTC P0562 is not set as current or history before performing this diagnostic. If DTC P0562 is set as current or history, go to DTC P0562 .
⇒ | If less than the specified voltage, test the IGN II/III voltage circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit test normal and the ECM - IGN fuse 19 is open, test the voltage circuit for a short to ground. If the circuit tests normal, test or replace the RUN/CRANK relay. |
⇒ | If the resistance is not within the specified range, replace the relay. |

⇒ | If less than infinite resistance, replace the RUN/CRANK relay. |
⇒ | If greater than 2.0 ohms, replace the RUN/CRANK relay. |
Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification after completing the diagnostic procedure.
