Preliminary Procedures

1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
2. Raise and support the vehicle as necessary. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.

A/C Suction Line Fastener (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
16 N·m (12 lb ft)

A/C Suction Line.

Procedure

1. Ensure to cap all HVAC line/hose connections immediately after removal to avoid contamination. Refer to Handling of Refrigerant Lines and Fittings.
2. Relocate any wiring or fasteners as necessary.
3. Rotate the suction line to gain clearance for removal.
4. Install new sealing washers. Refer to Sealing Washer Replacement
