Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2009 🢒 Captiva Sport 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 2.8L, 3.0L, 3.2L, or 3.6L 🢒 Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Installation

    Object Number: 1412155 Size: SH
  1. Install a NEW gasket onto the thermostat housing.

    2. Object Number: 1412152 Size: SH
  2. Install the thermostat housing.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the thermostat housing bolts.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the thermostat housing bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  4. Install a NEW gasket and O-ring onto the heater inlet/outlet pipe assembly.

    5. Object Number: 1412150 Size: SH
  5. Install the heater inlet/outlet pipe assembly.
  6. Install the heater inlet/outlet pipe assembly bolts.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the heater inlet/outlet pipe assembly bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  1. Install a NEW gasket onto the thermostat housing.

  2. Install the thermostat housing.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the thermostat housing bolts and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

    4. Object Number: 1412151 Size: SH
  4. Install a NEW gasket and O-ring onto the heater inlet/outlet pipe assembly.

    5. Object Number: 1412150 Size: SH
  5. Install the heater inlet/outlet pipe assembly.
  6. Install the heater inlet/outlet pipe assembly bolts and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  1. Install a NEW gasket (1) onto the thermostat housing.

    2. Object Number: 2137824 Size: SH
  2. Install the thermostat housing (3).

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the thermostat housing bolts (1, 2). Ensure to install the short bolt (1) and the long bolts (2) in the proper position and tighten the thermostat housing bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
