Preliminary Procedures

1. Disconnect the strut rods. Refer to Liftgate Strut Replacement.
2. Remove the rear door upper garnish molding. Refer to Liftgate Garnish Molding Replacement.

Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Transfer part as needed.
