Preliminary Procedures Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Remove the water deflector.
1	Front Side Door Check Link to Body Bolt Tighten 20 N·m (18 lb ft)
2	Front Side Door Check Link Bolt (Qty: 2) Tighten 7 N·m (62 lb in)
3	Front Side Door Check Link Tip Remove the check link from the door through the center opening.

1	Front Side Door Check Link to Body Bolt Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section. Tighten 20 N·m (18 lb ft)
2	Front Side Door Check Link Bolt (Qty: 2) Tighten 7 N·m (62 lb in)
3	Front Side Door Check Link Tip Remove the check link from the door through the center opening.
