I/P COMPARTMENT DOOR STRIKER REINFORCEMENT

A crack in the striker attachment surface of the instrument panel compartment door may occur on some 1982-83 Cavaliers when an abnormal amount of force is exerted to the striker assembly.

Fabrication and attachment of a metal mounting plate can be accomplished by use of the attached graphic instruction sheet. The use of this plate will eliminate the need for replacement of the instrument panel.
