HARD SHIFT - 2ND GEAR LOCK-UP LOCK PIN

Model and Year: 1993-85 CAVALIER 1995 SPECTRUM

If a condition of hard shifting or second gear lock-up is experienced on a five-speed manual transaxle after internal repairs, it my be caused by missing or incorrectly installed lock pins. This is especially true in the case of items #39 and #41 in the illustration. These two (2) pins are alightly different in length and shape; and if installed in the wrong position, may cause one or both of the above conditions.

Item #39 Part #94250114 -------- -------------- Length .482" to .486" Ions (12.3mm) Cosmetic Difference Spherical Ends

Item #41 Part #94250116 -------- -------------- Length .510" to .514" long (13mm) Cosmetic Difference Conical Chamfer on each end.
