NO BLOWER SPEED CHANGE LOW TO MED (CORRECTED WIRING)

Model and Year: 1990 CAVALIER WITH C/41 STANDARD HEATER

There have been some customer comments of no medium blower speed on standard heater (C-41) equipped vehicles. The blower functions normally on high speed but there is no apparent difference in air flow between low and medium speed.

CAUSE:

The 51 circuit and the 52 circuit wires at the blower motor resistor, cavities D and B, are reversed.

CORRECTION:

Refer to Cavalier Service Manual, Page 8A-60-0 for proper wiring procedure.
