Subject: ENGINE TO TRANSMISSION TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Model and Year: 1989-91 CAVALIER WITH 3T40 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

TO: ALL CHEVROLET DEALERS

An error exists in the engine to transaxle mounting illustrations. The specification shows 75 N.m (85 lbs. ft.). The correct specification for the stud or bolt is 75 N.m (55 lbs. ft.).
