SUBJECT: LOOSE OR MISSING BODY SIDE MOULDINGS (REPLACE WITH NEW MOULDINGS)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1989 CHEVROLET J MODEL

The original equipment body side moulding with a bright metallic insert could curl due to uneven expansion rate of the two materials. This would cause them to loosen and/or fall off.

To correct this condition it will be necessary to replace the mouldings with an improved type. However, the new mouldings are solid black and will require replacement of all body side mouldings as a kit.
