CONSOLE PARK BRAKE LEVER BRUSH LOOSE (REPAIR ASSEMBLY)

SUBJECT: CONSOLE PARK BRAKE LEVER BRUSH LOOSE

MODEL and YEAR: 1991-92 CAVALIER

Condition: Examination of returned parts on some Chevrolet Cavalier cars have revealed that replacement has been due to park brake brushes that become loose. Affected consoles can be repaired instead of replaced.

Correction: Remove console assembly, following the appropriate 1991 and 1992 "J" Car Service Manual procedure in Section 8C. Apply adhesive P/N 12345632, or equivalent, as shown and hold in place for approximately one minute.
