INFO REGARDING INCORRECT PAINT CODE ON IDENTIFICATION LABEL

SUBJECT: INFORMATION CONCERNING AN INCORRECT PAINT CODE USED ON THE SERVICE PARTS IDENTIFICATION LABEL

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1992 CHEVROLET CAVALIER

Some 1992 Chevrolet "J" Coupe series Cavaliers from the start of production through VIN breakpoint N7263950 that were painted Bright Aqua (#43) may have an incorrect paint code number (WA9786) listed on the Service Parts Identification (SPID) label located in the rear compartment area of the car. The correct paint code number is WA9796.

Please note this correction for future reference when contacting your paint supplier.
