Intake Air Temperature Sensor Replacement for Chevrolet Cavalier 1996

The intake air temperature (IAT) sensor is installed in the air cleaner outlet duct. Care must be taken when handling a IAT sensor to avoid damage.

1. Turn OFF the ignition.
2. Disconnect the IAT sensor electrical connector.
3. Carefully remove the IAT sensor from air cleaner outlet duct.

1. Install the IAT sensor into air cleaner outlet duct.
2. Connect the IAT sensor electrical connector.
