THE WEB STOP COMFORT CONVENIENCE BUTTON MAY HAVE SEPARATED FROM THE WEBBING.
REFER TO FIGURE 1.
1. INSTALL SEAT BELT WEBBING STOP BUTTON IN EXISTING HOLE.
2. IF UNABLE TO LOCATE EXISTING HOLE, REMOVE BOLT CAP COVER AT ROCKER/FLOOR PAN MOUNTING AND MEASURE FROM THE CENTER OF BOLT HEAD; PLACE THE SEAT BELT WEBBING STOP BUTTON IN THE CENTER OF WEBBING USING THE FOLLOWING DIMENSIONS.
O ALERO AND GRAND AM (1999), CAVALIER, CUTLASS AND MALIBU (COUPE AND SEDAN) - 460 MM (18 INCHES).
O GRAND AM (1996-98), SKYLARK AND ACHIEVA (COUPE AND SEDAN) - 555 MM (22 INCHES).
A. MAKE SURE LATCH IS ABOVE THE SEAT BELT WEBBING STOP BUTTON.
B. USE CAUTION WHEN SNAPPING BUTTON HALVES TOGETHER.
C. REMOVE THE SHARP POINT OF THE MALE HALF AFTER INSTALLATION TO PREVENT SCRATCHING OR TORN CLOTHING. (SMALL NEEDLE NOSE PLIERS WORK WELL.)
THE FOLLOWING ARE THE BUTTON KITS FOR SERVICE, CONSISTING OF TWO MALE AND TWO FEMALE BUTTONS.
