Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 777450 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear window panel trim. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the cargo lamp switch.
  3. Open the rear compartment lid.
  4. With a small flat-bladed tool remove the cargo lamp from the rear compartment.
  5. Route the cargo lamp and the electrical harness through the opening in the rear package self.
  6. Unfasten the electrical harness from the rear package self.
  7. With a small flat-bladed tool unfasten the rear retainer (2) for the cargo switch (1).
  8. Slide the cargo switch (1) forward and remove from the rear compartment hinge (3).
  9. Remove the cargo switch (1), wire harness, and rear compartment lamp from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 777449 Size: SH
  1. Place the cargo switch (1), wire harness, and rear compartment lamp on the rear package self.
  2. Slide the cargo switch (1) rearward on the rear compartment hinge (3).
  3. Align the cargo switch retainer (2) with the opening on the rear compartment hinge (3) and press downward until fully seated.
  4. Fasten the electrical harness to the rear package self.
  5. Connect the electrical connector for the cargo lamp switch.
  6. Route the cargo lamp and the electrical harness through the opening in the rear package self.
  7. Install the cargo lamp to the rear compartment.
  8. Close the rear compartment lid.
  9. Install the rear window panel trim. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
