Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the right front fender liner. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement .
  2. Remove the air dam. Refer to Front Air Dam Replacement in Bumpers.
  3. Remove the wiring harness retainers.
  4. Remove the front suspension support brace. Refer to Front Suspension Support Brace Replacement in Front Suspension.

  5. Object Number: 282275  Size: SH
  6. Remove the lower brace bolts (2).
  7. Remove the lower brace (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 282275  Size: SH
  1. Install the lower brace (1).
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the lower brace bolts (2).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the lower brace bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  5. Install the front suspension support brace. Refer to Front Suspension Support Brace Replacement in Front Suspension.
  6. Install the wiring harness retainers.
  7. Install the air dam. Refer to Front Air Dam Replacement in Bumpers.
  8. Install the right front fender liner. Front Fender Liner Replacement .
