Removal Procedure
  1. Move the door window to the full DOWN position.

    2. Object Number: 279030 Size: SH
  2. Remove the screw (1) from the door sealing strip.
  3. Remove the door sealing strip (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 279030 Size: SH
  1. Install the door sealing strip (2).
    2. 1.1. Align the end cap with the edge of the door.
    1.2. Press down on the door sealing strip (2) in order to seat the strip.

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the screw (1) to the door sealing strip .

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the door sealing strip screw (1) to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
