Removal Procedure
- Lower the rear door window.
- Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to
Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement

- Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to
Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement
.
- Remove the outer sealing strip. Refer to
Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement
.
- Remove the bolts with secure the regulator to the rear door window.
- Separate the window from the regulator and lower the window.
- Remove the lower bolt
from the stationary window (2).
- Remove the stationary window screws (3).
- Roll the stationary window forward and remove the stationary window
with the run channel weather-strip from the door.
Installation Procedure
- Position the stationary
window with the run channel weather-strip in the door.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the stationary
window channel bolt (2).
Tighten
Tighten the stationary window channel bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
- Install the stationary window screws (3).
Tighten
Tighten the stationary window screws to 3 N·m (27 lb in).
- Attach the rear door window to the regulator.
- Install the bolts which secure the rear door window to the regulator.
- Install the outer sealing strip. Refer to
Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement
.
- Install the rear door water deflector. Refer to
Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement
.
- Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to
Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement
.
