Removal Procedure

  1. Place front door window in the halfway down position.
  2. Remove the run channel weather-strip from the window (1).
  3. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  4. Remove the front door water reflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .

  5. Object Number: 279021  Size: LH
  6. Remove the nuts which retain the front door window to the window regulator.
  7. Remove the front door window (1) from the front door.

  8. Object Number: 279023  Size: MH
  9. Remove the sash rivet (1) from the sash.
  10. Remove the sash (2) from the window.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 279023  Size: MH
  1. Position the sash on the window.
  2. Install the sash rivet (1).

  3. Object Number: 279021  Size: LH
  4. Slide the window down into the door.
  5. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  6. Install the nuts which retain the window to the window regulator.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the window sash nuts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  8. Install the run channel weather-strip to the window.
  9. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  10. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  11. Install the run channel weather strip to the window (1). Refer to Door Window Channel Replacement .
