For 1990-2009 cars only
- Use a drift pin and a mallet in order to remove the pin (702) connecting the detent lever to the shaft.
- Use a long flat blade screwdriver in order to remove the pin (713) connecting the manual shaft to the case.
- Hold the detent lever (703) and pull the manual shaft park lock actuator rod (704) out of the driven sprocket support (602) and the case (15).
- Remove the manual detent lever (703) and the manual valve rod (701).
Notice: Use a piece of wood or other protective material when you remove the manual shaft pin, to prevent damage to the case.
