For 1990-2009 cars only
- Using a slight rotating motion, install the direct clutch assembly (610) onto the forward clutch assembly (624).
- Be sure that all of the direct clutch plates engage the forward clutch housing hub.
- Measure the distance from the bottom edge of the forward clutch housing (624) to the botom edge of the direct clutch housing (640).
- If the measurement is greater than 35.8 mm (1-13/32 in), then the clutches are not fully seated.
