When diagnosing a concern for Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) light illuminated and Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B0036 set, verify the connection at the Sensing and Diagnostic module (SDM) for the forward auxiliary discriminating Electronic Front-End sensor (EFS). Disconnect this connector and reconnect making sure that you have a proper fit. Clear this DTC and retest prior to replacing the forward EFS. Refer to SI Document IDs #877073 and #906731 for further information.
