High Pressure Regulator Hose Replacement Inlet or Outlet

1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting and Jacking in General Information in the 1998 J Platform Service Manual.
2. Clamp off the heater hose at the front of the vehicle, just forward of the coolant line.



3. Disconnect the rear hose from the coolant line.
4. Disconnect and remove the hose from the HPR.

1. Install the hose and the clamp on the HPR.
2. Install the hose and the clamp on the coolant line.
3. Unclamp the coolant hose at the front of the vehicle.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Check the coolant level. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Engine Cooling in the 1998 J Platform Service Manual.
