If a body panel or a component with a bi-fuel decal is replaced, apply the new decal as follows:

  1. Some bi-fuel decals require information such as the date of manufacture or the tank service expiration date. Record any necessary information before applying the decal to the vehicle.
  2. The following labels appear on this vehicle:

    • CNG Filter Label (1)
    • CNG Fuel Only Label (2)
    • Maintain Fuel Level CNG Label (3)
    • CNG Manual Shut-Off Valve Label (4)
    • Altered Vehicle Certification Label (5)
    • CNG Vehicle Label (6)
    • CNG Tank Strap Certification Label (7)
    • Fuse Block Label (8)
    • Vehicle Emission Control Information Label (9)
    • CNG Vehicle Owner's Information Label (10)
    • CNG Tank Cover Caution Label (11)
    • CNG Fill Instruction Location Label (12)
    • Dual Fuel Information Label (13)
    • CNG Fill Caution Label (14)
    • Jack Usage Label (15)
    • CNG Tank Fill Valve Receptacle Seal (16)
    • Fuel Economy Label (17)
  3. Clean the area where the decal will be applied. Use a solvent such as naphtha or a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water.
  4. Dry the area thoroughly.
  5. Repaint and feather any chipped paint in the area.
  6. Important: The surface and the decal must be warmed to between 27°C and 38°C (80°F and 100°F).

  7. Apply the decal to the surface of the vehicle.
