If a body panel or a component with a bi-fuel decal is
replaced, apply the new decal as follows:
- Some bi-fuel decals require information such
as the date of manufacture or the tank service expiration date. Record any
necessary information before applying the decal to the vehicle.

- Clean the area where the decal will be applied. Use a solvent
such as naphtha or a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water.
- Dry the area thoroughly.
- Repaint and feather any chipped paint in the area.
Important: The surface and the decal must be warmed to between 27°C and 38°C
(80°F and 100°F).
- Apply the decal to the surface of the vehicle.
