CATALYTIC CONVERTER ODOR NEW PROM WILL CORRECT

Model and Year 1982 CHEVROLET, MONTE CARLO AND MALIBU

A new service PROM has been released to decrease catalytic converter hydrogen sulfide odor.

This change is applicable to the 1982 vehicles as indicated below equipped with single bed bead converters:

PROM P/N Vehicle Engine --- ------- ------ 1225423 1982 Malibu and Federal 3.8L (Code K) With Auto- Monte Carlo matic Transmission Only

1225424 1982 Caprice Federal 3.8L (Code K) and Impala

NOTICE: These PROMs cannot be used for station wagon or El Camino.

Use applicable labor time and operation number.
