LOWERING CRADLE ASSEM.A,X CARS DISCONNECT RACK/PIN.STRG.GEAR

Anytime the cradle assembly is lowered at the rear for access to the distributor or other components, the rack and pinion steering gear assembly must be disconnected from the intermediate shaft. Failure to do so may result in damage to the intermediate shaft.
