The following procedure can be used for removal of the fixed arm rest on standard bench seats (Figures 1 and 2).
(1) Peel back the console tray carpeting to expose the two (2) console tray attaching screws.
(2) Remove screws and console tray.
(3) Remove arm rest support attaching nuts.
(4) Remove arm rest.
(5) Re-install attaching nuts and washers.
(6) Re-install console tray and attaching screws.
(7) Re-attach console tray carpet.
