ENGINE FLARE SLIPS NO DRIVE ON TURNS -84-87 THM 440T4

MODEL AND YEAR: 1984-87 CELEBRITY WITH THM 440-T4 TRANSAXLE

A condition of engine flare or transmission slippage during vehicle turns may be repaired by installing a new filter.

The filter with a new inlet and baffle design entered production April 6, 1987, (Julian date 096, Figure 1) .

Check for proper fluid level and correct, as necessary. If the flare still occurs, remove the bottom pan and replace the filter and seal with a new filter and seal package listed below.
