NEW HYDRAULIC ENGINE MOUNTS CORRECT LOW SPEED RATTLE

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1985 'A' and 'X' Cars Using Chevrolet LE2 and LB6 V6 Engines, Pontiac LR8 L4 Engines, and Buick LN3 and LK9 V6 Engines ---------------------------------------------

Some 1985 vehicles may experience a rattle type noise from the engine compartment which may be caused by the hydraulic engine mount (see illustration). This condition may be corrected by the installation of a new mount.

To repair vehicles experiencing this condition, use the mounts as listed on the following chart:
