HIGH SHIFT EFFORT NON-TILT STEERING WHEEL

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1985-86 Chevrolet 'A' Non-Tilt With 440T4 Transmission

Some 1985 and 1986 models equipped with 44OT4 automatic transaxle and the standard 'non-tilt' steering column may experience high shift effort during normal gear selection travel.

To correct this condition a new shift lever has been released for subject models. The shift lever Part Number is as follows:
