ESCUTCHEON GASKET REPLACEMENT FRONT DOOR LOCK

A CONDITION HAS BEEN ENCOUNTERED WHERE THE REMOTE HANDLE ESCUTCHEON GASKET MAY GROW OR CREEP FROM BEHIND THE DOOR REMOTE HANDLE AND SWITCH ESCUTCHEON. CARS BUILT ON OR AFTER 10A WILL NOT HAVE THE GASKET INSTALLED. IF A GASKET IS NEEDED, IT MAY BE FABRICATED AND INSTALLED ON THE ESCUTCHEON USING 3M-06375 SCOTCHMOUNT FOAM TAPE OR EQUIVALENT AS SHOWN IN FIGURE 1.
