DELCOTRON GROUND WIRE BROKEN NEW PLASTIC CLIP

Some Chevettes may exhibit Delcotron ground wire breakage due to vibration fatique caused by the Delcotron vibrating in its rubber mounts.

This condition can be corrected (see attached diagrams) by securing the ground wire in a plastic clip, P/N 8900116, and installing the clip in the specified hole on the back of Delcotron.

This change started in production on January 11, 1983 with V.I.N. DY156832.

Use applicable labor operation.
