Some 1984 Chevette "CS" series may be missing the deck lid "CS" emblems. Chevette "CS" series vehicles can be identified by the appearance of the letter B at the fifth position of the vehicle serial number.

SERVICE PROCEDURE
1. Clean area of body surface where emblem is to be applied with a suitable solvent (oil free-naptha or alcohol). Use clean cloth only.
2. Dry surface with clean cloth.
3. Body and emblem temperature at time of emblem application should be 70 DEG F to 90 DEG F.
Adhesive surface must not be touched or brought in contact with any surface or foreign matter.
4. Apply emblem to LH side of rear deck lid per attached sketch and press firmly in place.
Use applicable labor operation.
