'CS' EMBLEM MISSING INSTALL ON DECK LID

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1984 Chevette CS Series Vehicles

Some 1984 Chevette 'CS' Series may be missing the deck lid CS emblems. Chevette 'CS' Series vehicles can be identified by the appearance of the letter B at the fifth position of the vehicle serial number.

The CS emblem, P/N 14044267, can be ordered from WDDGM.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Clean the area of the body surface where the emblem is to be applied, with a suitable solvent (oil-free naptha or alcohol). Use a clean cloth only.

2. Dry the surface with a clean cloth.

3. The body and emblem temperalure at the time of the emblem application should be 70 DEG to 90 DEG F. The adhesive surface must not be touched or brought in contact with any surface or foreign matter.

4. Apply the emblem to the LH side of the rear deck lid per the attached sketch and press firmly in place.
